Kids First Two at City Hall

On Tuesday, July 22, 2008 members of the Kids First Coalition and concerned young people visited the Oakland City Council to take a stand on increasing funding for youth programming in the City. California's Drop Out Rate is On the Rise

California's State Department of Education released data on the current drop out rate. According to reports nearly 1 in 4 of California's 6.3 million students drop out of school.

Could it be related to California ranking 46th at per pupil spending in the nation?
